About Portland Kitchen Pros

A referral site for kitchen remodeling, run by H. Mae LLC. We pass requests on; independent remodelers quote and do the work.

Last updated

Portland Kitchen Pros exists for one kind of project: a kitchen, in Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas County in Oregon, or in Clark County in Washington. You describe the job, and we pass your request to an independent local remodeler who offers a free consultation. Every remodeler we pass requests to holds the Oregon CCB license or Washington L&I registration the job’s state requires.

Alongside the request form, the site publishes what we found in official and trade sources about the parts of a kitchen remodel that catch people out: which permits a job needs in each city, how to check an Oregon CCB license or a Washington L&I registration, the lead-safe rules for homes built before 1978, and the newest dated cost figures for the region. The pages name those sources, and we re-read the official ones on the day a change relies on them.

What this site does

Portland Kitchen Pros passes kitchen remodeling requests from homeowners in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington area to independent local remodelers, who quote and do the work.

It covers kitchen remodeling for homeowners in Vancouver, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, Gresham, Hillsboro, Tigard, West Linn, Milwaukie, Oregon City and Camas, in the Portland-Vancouver area.

How matching works

  1. Tell us about your kitchen. Answer a few questions: your ZIP code, the kind of job and when you hope to start. Sending a request costs nothing.
  2. We pass it to a local remodeler. Your request goes to an independent remodeler who works in your area and holds the Oregon CCB license or Washington L&I registration the job needs. We do not remodel kitchens ourselves.
  3. The remodeler contacts you. They get in touch to talk through the kitchen and offer a free consultation. Any design or estimate fees after that are their terms, agreed with you.
  4. You decide. Check their Oregon CCB license or Washington L&I registration, read the proposal, and hire only if it suits you. You are under no obligation.

What this site does not do

  • It is not a remodeler, and it does not perform kitchen remodeling work itself.
  • It does not set prices or give quotes. The remodeler who takes on the job does that, after discussing it with you.
  • It does not supervise, guarantee or take responsibility for work a remodeler carries out.
  • It does not sell the information you submit.
  • It does not publish reviews, ratings, credentials or any other claim it cannot verify.
